Saturday 8th September, 2009 at the Ladies Kennel Club Championship showJoyce had Oscar (Toorork Osca the Black) entered in the Minor class. Very exciting news to hear that he got the DOG CHALLENGE, then went on to get BEST OF BREED. So got his first 20 challenge points, but hey the excitment did not end there, he went on to win BEST MINOR PUPPY IN GROUP.

Saturday 8th August 2009, well not only was it an exciting day for Rebel and I but also for 3 of my friends as well.
Competing at the Trackwest Inc. tracking trial with us were Anne with her Goldies (2) and Kim with her Lab.
Anne was going to her Test 6 with Maddie which would give them their Tracking Dog Excellent title. WoooHooo as they passed, BIG congratulations to Anne and Maddie. Annes exciting news did not end there she had one of her young girls entered, Ella for her Test 1 and I was the known tracklayer, extremely happy to report she also passed with Ella, so more congratulation and a very well done Anne. The picture below is Anne with Maddie (on the left) and Ella. Next trial she will have 3 entered with her other young girl Holly, so good luck Anne and the girls.
Also a BIG Congratulations to Kim Jackson with Bella, who today passed their Test 5, WooHoo Kim, Test 6 next for TDX. Good Luck.
While we were all busy at tracking, Joyce Spencer and her Lab Jed were competing in obedience at the Perth Training Dog Club trial. I was very excited to get Joyce's text message to say that not only had they passed in the Open class but came SECOND with a score of 190. Just so proud of you both as you have put alot of work into your training Joyce and it sure is paying off. Good luck with the next trial, hope we are there to watch and cheer you on. Good luck at the Championship show today with cutie Oscar.
Sunday 26th July 2009, at the All Breeds Dog Club champioship show Joyce had her Pug Oscar entered for the first time in Minor class, just 6 months of age. So I braved the freezing cold wind and went to be part of the cheer squad and boy was a glad I did. First off he was 1st in MINOR Dog class, then in with the big boys for the Dog Challenge and got RESERVE CHALLENGE, WooHoo Oscar, but hey the good news did not end there, as the dog who got Challenge got BOB it ment Oscar had to go in and take his place and guess what, he got R/U BOB. Big Congratulations to Joyce and Oscar.
Came to the Minor class in group and the judge had a hard time making up her mind between Oscar and the little fluffy next to him. Oscar decided to jump up at the wrong time and the fluffy got Minor in group, but the judge did say to Joyce, it was VERY CLOSE, so fingers are crossed for next time.
WELL DONE JOYCE AND OSCAR.
Saturday 25th July 2009, Trackwest Inc tracking trial.
Well Anne Cameron sure is on a roll with her Goldie Maddie as today she passed her Test 5. BIG Congratulations again Anne, its just terrific. I am running out of different photo's of you, better take some more. Good luck for Test 6 (TDX Title) in a couple of weeks.
Also Big Congrations to Kim Jackson and her Lab Bella who passed their Test 4 today. I was there in time to follow up on Kim's track just a shame Kim did not have the confidence to go with Bella when she showed her the corners the first time. Remember Kim, "trust your dog". Good luck for Test 5 in a couple of weeks.
Saturday 11th July 2009, Trackwest Inc - Tracking trial.
Once again its BIG Congratulations to Anne Cameron and her Goldie Maddie who pass their Test 4 with a Grading of EXCELLENT. I think I was nearly as exciting as Anne. Well deserved as she has done a lot of training and it certainly shows.
At the same trial I also handled Judy Tsakalos's GPS - Luka who works at a hundred miles an hour, for her Test 5 and very happy to say we also passed with a grading of VERY GOOD. So with my pass with Rebel it sure was a terrific day.
Sunday 5th July 2009, Oriental Breeds Society Championship show.
BIG Congratulations to Joyce Spencer who showed for the very first time with her Pug - Oscar who was awarded 2nd place in the Baby Puppy Class. Promising start to his showing career.
